Unveiling a Hidden Gem: T-Oinos Wines. Nestled amidst the Cycladic islands, on the pristine island of Tinos, lies T-Oinos. It's here that they are crafting premium Greek wines that are poised to elevate the global perception of Greek winemaking.
The vineyards are cradled by a dramatic landscape where giant granite boulders whisper tales of Titans and Gods. Here, indigenous grapes like Assyrtiko, Malagousia, and Mavrotragano thrive alongside a touch of the international (Cabernet Franc). The result are wines that are captivatingly fresh and mineral-driven. Their Assyrtiko, in particular, offers a truly unique expression compared to its counterparts from Santorini. It's a testament to the power of terroir – a transparent reflection of its unique origin. The buzz surrounding Greek wines is undeniable, but T-Oinos takes it a step further. They boast an impressive pedigree: businessman Alexandros Avatangelos' vision combined with the expertise of renowned wine director Gerard Margeon and international consultant Stephane Derenoncourt.
This isn't just about creating great Greek wines; it's about creating world-class wines that speak of their place. Launched in 2002, production is still boutique (20-25,000 bottles annually), with exciting plans to expand to 40,000.
Their top-tier wines are already achieving cult status, but the true differentiator is Avatangelos' vision: to not just showcase Greece, but to redefine its potential on the global wine stage.
T-Oinos wines are more than a delicious sip; they're an invitation to rediscover the magic of Greek wine. Join them as they rewrite the narrative.

To elevate their brand identity, we redesigned the labels on the front and the back to celebrate their commitment to create world-class Greek wines.
We designed a new label to highlight the elegance of Greek culture. The label combines simple, modern, letterforms with an original acrylic painting (View from Naxos Quarry, Greece; 40x68), which celebrates the Cycladic Island from which Dionysus gave birth to viticulture. In this way, we allude to T-Oinos' innovative oenological approach and agricultural precision and terroir.
Additional label designs
The back label has been redesigned to reflect the passion of Stéphane Derenoncourt, T-Oinos's Master Vigneron. Particular attention has been given to celebrating Greek wine culture, incorporating it into other elements, such as the requirement to indicate alcohol content by volume.
We expanded on the original T-OINOS logo of two grape trellises, in the shape of a "T".
The double "T" trellis is reimagined. Preserving the T-shape, we've incorporated it as a trellis with a grape cluster. The trellis doubles as the grape "leaves". The name OINOS is a custom, bold sans-serif contained within the shape of a cluster. This strategic design approach offers typographic flexibility.
